IKIRENGA CARE CBC is a unique development initiative in Rwanda designed to strengthen healthcare services while simultaneously developing a sustainable workforce in Physical Rehabilitation and Nutrition.
Integrated Healthcare & Education Model
IKIRENGA CARE CBC combines healthcare services and academic training within one initiative, ensuring that Rwanda develops a continuous pipeline of skilled professionals in Physical Rehabilitation and Nutritional Sciences.
Two Complementary Components
The project consists of two key institutions: IKIRENGA International Training College and the IKIRENGA Physical Rehabilitation and Nutritional Care Center, working together to deliver both training and healthcare services.
Immediate Health Impact
By providing direct physical rehabilitation and nutritional care services, the project improves the well-being and recovery outcomes of patients across Rwanda and neighboring countries.
Long-Term Workforce Development
By offering professional degrees and training programs, IKIRENGA CARE CBC will create a steady supply of highly skilled Rwandan professionals in these critical but under-resourced health fields.
Private Sector Investment for Development
The initiative supports the mission of Kangabe Foundation by promoting private sector investment that generates employment opportunities, reduces poverty, and strengthens healthcare service delivery.
